Sprawling throughout the stunningly beautiful Joshinetsu Kogen National Park is Shiga Kogen, Japan’s largest ski resort with 19 interlinked ski areas, one lift ticket allows you to ride on all of the lifts, gondolas, and ropeways. It would take days to experience them all. It also offers some of the best snow conditions and scenic terrain to be found anywhere. With your lift pass, you can take the Shiga Kogen shuttle bus running between the interconnected slopes as well.
There’s more, come and see the world-famous SNOW MONKEY at the foot of Shiga Kogen. The wild monkeys that come to bathe in the hot springs.

From Tokyo

By Train via Nagano

Take the JR Nagano Bullet train from Tokyo to Nagano (90 minutes) and then an express bus from Nagano to Shiga Kogen. Travelling time approx. 80 minutes.

By direct highway bus from Narita Airport

During winter, one round trip per day is operating between Narita Airport and Shiga Kogen. The one way trip takes about six hours.

Private Transfer is also available between Shiga Kogen and various resorts and towns in Nagano/Myoko Kogen, Haneda Airport, Narita Airport and Down town Tokyo.
