Rusutsu boasts one of the largest ski areas in Hokkaido. 37 beautiful trails, spread across 3 distinctly unique mountains give this ski area combined total length of 42 km. From ungroomed off-piste runs and a large terrain park located on West Mountain, with a wide variety of jumps, boxes and rails , to immaculately groomed runs for all levels and a kids park and beginners area, Rusutsu has so much to offer. Kindergarten service with qualified nannies also available.

from $1,318 per person A range of log houses and cottages located onsnow on the western side of Rusutsu ski resort. Each log house/cottage has ski in ski out access and is perfect for smaller or larger groups.

Access information

From Sapporo

A free daily shuttle bus for resort guests operates between Sapporo and resort. The bus departs from the Rusutsu Resort Sapporo Office near Sapporo Station in the morning and returns to Sapporo in the evening. Travel time is two hours. Reservations are required at least one day in advance.

Donan Bus and Hokkaido Resortliner operate buses between Sapporo and Rusutsu Resort.The one way trip takes about two hours. Reservations are required. Buses leave from JR Sapporo Station and several major hotels in the city.

From New Chitose Airport

Multiple bus companies, including Chuo Bus, Niseko Bus, Goodsports and Hokkaido Resortliner operate buses between Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport and Rusutsu. The one way trip takes approx. 2 hours. Reservations are required.

From Niseko

During winter only, Donan Bus operates two buses per day between Rusutsu and the various ski resorts in Niseko. The one way trip takes approx. 60 minutes. Reservations are required.

Private Transfer is aslo available between Rusutsu and various resort and town in Hokkaido.
