From skiing to snowmobiles, snow rafting, horse riding and hot springs, you can experience it all at Niseko. A variety of ski runs – over 48km in total – can accommodate skiers of any level, from beginner to professional. Wide open runs, gladed areas, groomed and off-piste slopes. Seasonal winds from the Eurasian continent pick up moisture over the warm currents of the Sea of Japan to form snow clouds and in turn some of the driest, lightest powder in the world.

From New Chitose Airport/Sapporo
From December to March, multiple bus companies run direct buses between Chitose airport and Niseko. Some buses also serve Sapporo Station. The one way trip takes about 2.5 to 3 hours In the Niseko area the buses stop at the three major ski resorts of Hirafu, Niseko Village and Annupuri.
There are infrequent local and rapid train connections between New Chitose airport and Kutchan Stations, most of which require a change of trains at Otaru. A direct “Niseko Liner” rapid train is a favorable transfer, the one way trip takes about 100 minutes and costs 1840 yen. From Kutchan there is a bus every 1-2 hours to Hirafu (15 minutes), with some buses continuing on to Niseko Village (30 minutes) and Annupuri (45 minutes, winter only).
