Furano is one of Japan’s most famous ski resorts, situated in the middle of Hokkaido, Furano benefits from Siberian storm systems that pass over the Sea of Japan. After a big snow fall there is often untracked powder for days. The ski area is made up of two zones, the Kitanomine Zone and the Furano Zone. Both areas have a variety of accommodation options, developed amenities and services. The town of Furano is only a short shuttle bus ride away from both zones. Both the town and resort provide adequate comforts and home to a wide array of restaurants and bars and all the services you would expect to find in a town, including the ability to cater to English speaking guest, without losing the essence of Japan.

From Chitose Airport/Sapporo
Regular bus services to Furano operate from New Chitose and Sapporo by Hokkaido Resortliner and Chuo Bus. Travel time is approx. 3 hours. Reservations are required.
Access to Furano resort by train from New Chitose Airport via Sapporo operate on a regular basis. They will be change train required at Takikawa station. Travel time is approx. 3 hours.
From Asahikawa Airport
Between Asahikawa Airport and Furano ski resort connect by The “Lavender Go” bus. The bus travels via Asahikawa Zoo via Furano town and takes approx. 1 hour.
Private Transfer is aslo available between Furano and various resort and town in Hokkaido.
